This Shipping Policy explains where we ship, how delivery works, and what to expect after you place an order on coolheatdirect.com.
1. Where We Ship
We ship within the United States, including the continental U.S. (Lower 48 states).
Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may be available on select products, but availability depends on carrier access and delivery location, and additional shipping charges may apply. Some Alaska and Hawaii orders may require a freight quote and will only ship after shipping cost and delivery options are confirmed.
We do not ship to U.S. territories (including Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.), APO/FPO/DPO, or international addresses at this time.
2. Shipping Cost & Free Shipping (Lower 48)
We offer free shipping on eligible orders shipped to addresses within the Lower 48 states, as displayed at checkout.
For Alaska and Hawaii, shipping costs are not included in Lower 48 free shipping offers and may require a quote. If a quote is required, shipping cost and available delivery options will be confirmed before shipment.
3. Estimated Delivery Time (Lower 48)
Estimated delivery time for shipments within the Lower 48 states is 5–12 business days, as displayed at checkout. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on product availability, carrier scheduling, weather, and destination.
4. Delivery Method: Ground and Freight (Curbside)
Orders may ship via ground carriers for smaller packages and freight carriers for larger HVAC equipment.
Freight shipments are delivered curbside to the closest accessible outdoor location (such as a driveway or curb). Carriers do not bring freight inside a home, climb stairs/elevators, or place items in a specific room.
Customers are responsible for ensuring appropriate access for delivery and arranging help to move heavy items after delivery.
5. Order Processing & Tracking
Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days before shipment, depending on product availability, warehouse scheduling, and carrier pickup times.
Tracking information will be provided by email when available after the order ships.
6. Freight Delivery Scheduling
For freight shipments, the carrier may contact you using the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery window. An adult (18+) may be required to be present to receive the shipment, depending on the carrier.
If the carrier cannot reach you or a scheduled delivery is missed, delivery may be delayed and additional carrier fees may apply.
7. Delivery Inspection
Please inspect your shipment at the time of delivery.
If the package shows visible damage:
• Take photos before signing, when possible.
• Note visible damage on the delivery receipt or carrier documentation.
• If damage appears significant, you may refuse delivery.
After delivery, contact us as soon as possible at support@coolheatdirect.com with photos and details. Carrier claims and replacement eligibility may depend on proper documentation at delivery.
8. Incorrect Address / Delivery Issues
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping information at checkout.
If a shipment is returned, re-routed, or requires re-delivery due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional carrier fees may apply.
9. Missing, Lost, or “Delivered” Shipments
If tracking shows “delivered” but you cannot locate the shipment, please notify us within 48 hours so we can initiate a carrier trace where available. Once a carrier confirms delivery, we are not responsible for theft or loss occurring after delivery confirmation.
10. Weather & Carrier Delays
Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, carrier operations, and other factors outside our control. When possible, we can assist by sharing tracking updates and carrier information.
