Shipping Policy

We proudly provide secure and reliable shipping services throughout the continental United States (Lower 48 states). At Cool Heat Direct, your comfort starts with a smooth delivery experience.


1. Where We Ship

We currently ship to:

  • Lower 48 U.S. states

We do not ship to:

  • Alaska & Hawaii

  • U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.)

  • International addresses


2. Free Curbside Delivery

All MRCOOL® equipment qualifies for Free Curbside Delivery.

This includes:

  • FedEx Ground for smaller items

  • FedEx Freight or trusted carriers for large HVAC systems

📍 Curbside delivery means the product is delivered to the closest accessible outdoor area such as a driveway or sidewalk.
Drivers do not enter homes, climb stairs/elevators, or move items indoors.

Please arrange help for moving heavy items after delivery.


3. Order Processing & Tracking

  • Orders typically process within 3–5 business days

  • Tracking details will be emailed once the shipment leaves the warehouse

  • Freight deliveries will be scheduled directly with you using the contact information provided at checkout

If the carrier cannot reach you after multiple attempts, additional fees may apply.


4. Delivery Appointments (Freight)

For large items:

  • The carrier will call to schedule a delivery date and time window

  • An adult (18+) must be present to sign for the shipment

Missed appointments may delay delivery.


5. Shipment Inspection Requirements

Please inspect your delivery upon arrival:

✔ Check packaging for visible damage
✔ Take photos before signing if damage is present
✔ Note all visible damage on the delivery receipt
✔ Refuse delivery if the product appears severely damaged

Then contact us immediately:

Failure to document damage may impact eligibility for replacement.


6. Wrong Address or Delivery Issues

Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate shipping information.
If an incorrect address results in:

  • Failed delivery

  • Re-consignment

  • Re-shipment
    → Additional carrier fees may be billed to the customer.


7. Missing or Lost Shipments

If tracking shows delivered but the item cannot be located:

  • Notify us within 48 hours

  • We will initiate a carrier trace and resolution process

We are not liable for theft after confirmed delivery.


8. Weather & Transit Delays

While rare, weather or operational carrier issues may extend delivery times.
These delays are outside of our control but we will assist with updates.
