MODEL: CENTRAL-60-HP-230B00-O

Maximum Whole-Home Comfort. Built for Larger Spaces.

The MRCOOL® Hyper Heat 60K BTU 5 Ton Central Ducted Heat Pump Split System – 2nd Gen is designed for larger homes and demanding comfort needs, delivering powerful year-round heating and cooling through a clean central ducted setup. Instead of using individual wall-mounted units, this system connects to compatible ductwork to help distribute conditioned air throughout the home.

With up to 16 SEER2 efficiency, Hyper Heat performance, and advanced DC inverter variable-speed technology, this system is built to provide strong comfort while helping manage energy use. The inverter-driven design allows the system to adjust output more intelligently, supporting steadier indoor temperatures compared with older single-speed systems.

This 60K system delivers 54,000 BTU cooling capacity and 56,000 BTU heating capacity, making it a powerful choice for larger homes, open layouts, multi-room ducted comfort, and whole-home HVAC upgrades.

The complete system includes the MRCOOL® 2nd Gen Hyper Heat 60K condenser, matching MRCOOL® VersaPro® 60K multi-position air handler, and the MRCOOL® Smart Thermostat, giving homeowners a complete central ducted solution with modern comfort control, flexible installation options, and powerful 5 Ton performance in one matched package.

Need More Heating & Cooling Power?

  • This is the largest size in the Hyper Heat Central Ducted range shown in our guide, making it suitable for larger homes and higher heating or cooling demand.
  • Correct sizing matters. An undersized system may struggle to keep up, while an oversized system may cycle inefficiently and reduce comfort. For larger or more complex homes, sizing should be confirmed by a qualified HVAC professional.
